From Homestead to Legacy is a three-day intensive learning experience for people who are ready to build a productive, resilient homestead that can serve their family now and for generations to come.
Held April 1–3, 2027, in Front Royal, Virginia, this focused event will explore the interconnected systems, skills, and decisions required to establish a homestead that can produce food, create income, strengthen a household, and endure over time.
This is not a surface-level conference. Attendees should come prepared to take notes, ask serious questions, examine their plans, and develop a clearer understanding of what it takes to build a working homestead.

Three Days of Focused Learning
Each day will examine a different part of building a capable, lasting homestead.
Day One: Build the Foundation
Explore the land and infrastructure decisions that shape everything that follows, including:
- Selecting and evaluating homestead property
- Water systems and responsible water management
- Essential homestead infrastructure
- Pasture rotation and soil health
- Livestock health and veterinary instruction
- Planning systems that work together
Day Two: Build the Working Homestead

Attendance is intentionally limited to 500 people to provide a more focused experience.

VIP admission also includes Friday evening dinner and an exclusive speaker breakout session.
Children ages 5–13 require a child admission ticket. Kidsteader class packages are also available. Children ages 4 and under may attend for free but must sit with their parents during sessions or remain outside with a chaperone.
A virtual ticket option is available for those who cannot attend in person.
