Are you ready for an inspirational and educational weekend with fellow women homesteaders from across the country (and beyond)? The annual HOA Homesteader Women’s Retreat weekend is taking place in November at Polyface Farm in Swoope, VA! Imagine with us, a women’s only event at Joel Salatin’s Polyface Farm in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in the fall—in one of his warm, beautiful hoop houses. It’s going to be grand, ladies!
This event isn’t like our big annual conference. With only 250 tickets (TOTAL!) available, this intimate event will have you walking away feeling inspired, rejuvenated, and encouraged as a woman homesteader. From cooking from scratch to raising homestead kids—we’ve got you covered.
Come and enjoy breakfast (with a VIP ticket) and lunch (for all attendees) straight from the farm at Polyface. Connect with like-minded women, mothers, grandmothers, entrepreneurs, farmers, old and young, single and married homesteaders.

If your husband is joining you for the weekend, there will be plenty of other men wandering around the farm looking for someone to talk to. But also, I would encourage you to have them sit in on the marriage and parenting panel! While this is a women’s event, it may be something that inspires them as well. Maybe they’ll make an incredible homestead connection with others while you’re in the women’s lectures.
We hope this weekend of women only will leave you feeling like you’ve just had the biggest retreat with your girlfriends. Go home and head into the holidays knowing that, even if you have to do it alone, this homesteading lifestyle is absolutely attainable as a woman. And, even when you’re feeling overwhelmed by work and family life…there are others who understand, and who can help you through this life…together! And yes, there will be lots of coffee!

This event has two ticket options: regular and VIP. Regular ticket holders will receive access to all of the lectures and lunch. VIP ticket holders will have access to lectures and lunch as well as breakfast!
