Learn, Connect, and Grow Alongside the Homesteading Community

Join us for the 2026 Homesteaders of America Conference, our largest annual gathering of homesteaders, farmers, families, educators, and homestead-minded businesses.

Held October 9–10 at the Warren County Fairgrounds in Front Royal, Virginia, this two-day event brings practical homesteading education and genuine community together in one place. Whether you are planning your first homestead, building skills on an established property, or simply looking for a more self-sufficient way of life, you will find encouragement and useful information for your next step.

What to Expect

The conference weekend will include:

• More than 30 educational lectures and demonstrations
• Experienced teachers from across the homesteading community
• Topics covering livestock, gardening, food preservation, natural health, homestead business, traditional skills, and more
• Homestead vendors, sponsors, food, and resources
• Opportunities to meet other homesteaders from around the country
• Family-friendly learning, including optional Kidsteader classes
• Free parking at the fairgrounds

This is an outdoor, rain-or-shine event held at a working fairground. Come prepared for changing weather, field parking, plenty of walking, and two full days of learning and fellowship.

Event Details

Children ages 11 and under receive free conference admission but still need a ticket. Discounted tickets are available for children ages 12–17.

Tickets will not be sold at the gate, and this event is expected to sell out. Advance purchase is required.
