Do you do farm tours? We frequent Asheville but live in Alabama and are trying start a homestead and small market farm. I would be glad to pay for a tour. We are trying to get layout ideas by visiting functioning farms.

I wish we could see the questions and answers that were in the chat during the live… is that possible?

Do you worry about crop rotation in your garden? We have raised beds because we have clay soil and we have a 6 year rotation plan. Do you have to do this too?

(PNW chicken owner) as long as you don’t use cedar chips or shavings inside a closed coop, it’s fine. So if it’s outside its fine.

Watched your almost 2 hr video. I loved seeing the children getting involved and excited about the animals and helping as they could. We’ve bought land between our grandchildren in SC. The plan is to enjoy growing stuff, having a place for them to visit and learn, and then leave it to them. Will definitely continue watching and I want to sign up for the 12 permaculture lessons. God bless you, your wife and family w good health.
