All-In-One Canning
with Ann Accetta-Scott
Join Ann Accetta-Scott of A Farm Girl in the Making and the author of A Farm Girl’s Guide to Preserving the Harvest, and learn everything you need to know about pressure and hot water bath canning. Workshop attendees will learn to marry traditional practices with science-based methods to create shelf-stable home canned goods. You will leave the workshop with the knowledge and confidence needed to ensure the garden and pasture’s harvest is put up, providing your family with shelf-stable food for months to come.

- Goods you can at the workshop: canned chicken and vegetable soup and pickled carrots.
Students should bring:
- apron
- food-grade gloves if you’re not comfortable touching raw meat
